Commercial posts selling or advertising items or services are not tolerated on the website under any circumstances. When a commercial post is put on the website, the DublinWaste.ie Administrator will take 3 immediate actions:

1) The item will be taken down immediately from FREE Trade;

2) The Users account will be deleted;

3) The User will be permanently blocked from ever registering an account on DublinWaste.ie again.

Persistant abusers of this condition may also be reported to their internet service provider for internet misuse.

The reason for our strong stance on commercial posts is as follows:

FREE Trade on DublinWaste.ie is a not for profit initiative funded by the four Dublin Local Authorities in the region. To date the service has been responsible for the reuse of thousands of items benifitting members and the environment. The service saves money for members, fosters community spirit while protecting the environment. 

One of the main reason for the success of the service is the loyalty and attitude of our Users who embrace the ethos of the service. 

If we allow users to freely post up items for money then the spirit of FREETrade will be quickly lost.

As a result, FREE Trade will always be FREE!!
