60 Green Minutes Competition

rx3, 'Rethink, Recycle, Remake' have launched an exciting green competition to encorage the development of business ideas that take something disposable and transform it in to something of greater use and value.

So all reusers, innovators and entrepreneurs out there step right up and get your thinking caps on! If you think you have what it takes rx3 are ready and waiting!

This is an open call to early stage businesses registered on the island of Ireland. Closing date for entries to the competition is Thursday, 4th February 2010.

Six participants will be shortlisted to present their ideas over 60 minutes at the rx3 Sustainable Innovation Forum on 27th April 2010. One winner will be chosen by the evaluation panel. The winning entry will receive €10,000  for the purpose of developing their business initiative.

Trash to Cash Competition

Are you a college student or a graduate who completed studies in 2008 or 2009 with an idea for recycling a used disposable material in to a new product? If so then the rx3 'Trash to Cash' competition is open to you!

There are two categories in this competition:

  • Most Innovative use of materials

  • Best Business idea

All shortlisted entres will be exhibited at the rx3 Sustainable Innovation Forum and in public buildings after the event. The winner of each category will receive €2,500
