2009 - Quarter 2 - A look back

April 2009 was 11th year of National Spring Clean Month.

During April householders, communities & business throughout the region were invited to get involved and help clean up there local environments

 


May 26th 2009 saw DublinWaste.ie & FREE Trade reach a new record when the 20,000th item was FREE Traded!

The item FREE Traded was a bean bag by Liz Henson (pictured), who recieved a gift to mark the occassion. Find out more about this story here...

In June 2009 the first round of the IBAL anti-litter league results were published.

A number of towns in Dublin did extremely well in this round with Dun Laoghaire, Swords & Balbriggan ranked at 5, 6 and 7 respectively in this round.

Congratulations to all involved and keep up the good work in to 2010.
